Parma 1-0 AC Pisa: Serie A Match Report

Parma 1-0 AC Pisa took 45 minutes to produce a goal and never produced a second. Goalless at the interval, 1-0 in the second period, and a home win by the narrowest margin available against the side propping up Serie A.

Parma were 14th on 39 points from 33 matches with a goal difference of -16, level on points with Genoa and eleven clear of the relegation places. Their form had been poor and was improving: 1-4 at Torino, 0-2 at home to Cremonese, then 1-1 at Lazio, 1-1 with Napoli and a 1-0 at Udinese. A 14th-placed side at home against the bottom club should be shorter than that; the price was pricing in a team that had recently lost 1-4 and 0-2.
