How to Use Our Betting Calculators

Our odds converter transforms between decimal, fractional, and American odds formats instantly. Decimal odds (used in Europe) show your total return per unit staked. Fractional odds (UK tradition) show profit relative to stake. American odds use positive numbers for underdogs and negative for favourites.

The profit calculator shows your potential return and profit for any stake and odds combination. The accumulator calculator multiplies odds across multiple selections to show combined odds and potential returns — essential for building informed accas rather than guessing at combined prices.

Understanding Odds Formats

Decimal odds are the simplest: multiply your stake by the decimal number to find total return. Odds of 2.50 on a $10 bet returns $25 ($15 profit). Fractional odds like 3/2 mean you win $3 for every $2 staked — so a $10 bet profits $15 (total return $25). American odds use +150 for underdogs (profit $150 on $100) and -150 for favourites (stake $150 to profit $100).

Implied probability reveals the bookmaker's estimated chance of an outcome. Odds of 2.00 imply 50% probability; 3.00 implies 33.3%. When the true probability exceeds the implied probability, the bet offers positive expected value — the foundation of profitable sports betting.
