The December fixture finished 6-0 to Leipzig at home, 2-0 up at the break, and it is the loudest entry in a record that has rarely been quiet. Frankfurt had won the corresponding game 4-0 on 26 April 2025, a goal ahead at half-time and four clear by the end. Leipzig took a 2-1 at home on 15 December 2024, the sides drew 2-2 in Frankfurt on 18 May 2024, and Frankfurt won 1-0 in Leipzig on 13 January 2024. Five meetings, eighteen goals.

Four of those five cleared three goals. The average across the run is 3.6 goals a game, and the two most recent meetings alone account for ten of the eighteen. That is not a stylistic assertion about how these teams play; it is the scoreline record, and it is the single strongest piece of evidence available for the market we have taken.

Nineteen of their 29 matches have cleared 2.5 goals — the same count as Frankfurt, from a very different kind of season.

On the road Leipzig have won seven, drawn three and lost four in fourteen, scoring 20 and conceding 18 away from home. Eight of those fourteen away trips have gone over. They arrive on the back of a 2-1 home win over Augsburg, a 0-1 defeat at Stuttgart, a 5-0 home win over Hoffenheim, a 2-1 at Bremen and a 1-0 home win over Mönchengladbach on 11 April.

The volume of goals in Frankfurt matches is the foundation. A club that has scored 54 and conceded 54 in 29 games is not a club whose fixtures finish 1-0 often. Only ten of their 29 have stayed under the line all season.

Leipzig's away profile supports rather than undercuts it.
